Application for volunteer-projects
1.) Find information about your project and the application:
- Write an e-mail to SCOPH and tell us in which project you are interested
- Here you can find specific information on our projects: Volunteer Projects
2.) Get in contact with us:
If you found a project you are interested in just write an e-mail with the name of the project in the subject to SCOPH!
The project coordinator who is responsible for it will get in contact with you. He or she can answer your questions and will inform you about the next steps of application!
3.) Application - documents, PRINTED and SCANNED:
We use standardised application forms to meet demands of our different partner organisations. For every document: download it, print it, fill it out. You have to serve us ALL documents by post to the home address of your contact person in Austria! Some of the documents you also have to scan and to send on a floppy disc / CD / attached in an e-mail!
At first write an e-mail to SCOPH that you know your contact person!
- Cover page
- AMSA - Contract form
- General application form and stick on a photo - has to be scanned!
- Letter of Recommendation - has to be scanned!
- Curriculum Vitae - has to be scanned!
- Letter of Motivation - has to be scanned!
Put all documents into a transparent cover and serve us all documents by post to the home address of your contact person in Austria (after getting in contact!)!
Also send the scanned files by post (floppy-disk / CD) or attached in an e-mail to your project coordinator in Austria!
Please keep the size of your files small!!! It has to be readable, but that's big enough! If they are too big minimise the number of the pixel - your project coordinator will be very thankful! :-)
For bilateral projects (just Brazil) with family care for the incoming student you also need the accepted addition to the contract form - ask your contact person!
4.) Further steps after the application:
- The final decision of your acceptance will be made by the partner organisation and your responsible project coordinator.
- You'll be informed about the decision by e-mail.
- As soon as you are informed of your acceptance you have to pay 110 € project fees (for CEPAS + family-care-deposit - at all 490 €) to the bank account of AMSA within the next two weeks. Your spot will exspire if you don't pay your fee in these 14 days. The project fees include a 30 € deposit which you'll get back when you write a report after your return.
- After your acceptance to the project you can't cancel anymore. But if AMSA and the partner organisation agree it's possible for you to make a substitution.
- After paying your fees you can get in contact with the partner organisation to manage the details of your stay.
